iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated UI/UK Designer who wants to be part of this rapidly expanding business, taking on the responsibility for designing new systems and extending the capabilities of our current platforms. to help drive our goal of ‘Paying the Planet’.


Role Overview


Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success!  This role requires an eye for clean and intuitive design with a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.


The systems to be designed and developed cover the entire operational lifecycle, therefore the successful candidate will need to deliver intuitive user experiences for various use cases, from initial data exchange and loading, through processing and reporting output and data visualizations.


The role will initially be standalone, but we’ll be looking to expand and improve our UX presence in the future. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise closely with the business analysis team, front-end development team as well as our internal payment teams.


Key objectives of the role

The successful candidate requires experience, skills, and a proven track record in the following areas:


  • Produce high quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
  • Champion the end user perspective when designing new systems and features to ensure delivery of high quality and useable systems
  • Identify and analyse user requirements
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
  • Recommend changes to improve established user interfaces
  • Ability to problem solve, provide solutions, and play an interactive role within a team environment
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience


What are we looking for in you?


  • A UX generalist who has experience in user experience research and user interface design
  • Experience of the whole software development process
  • Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Balsamiq, Adobe XD or Figma
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to stakeholders
  • Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Creative ideas with problem solving mindset
  • Strong communication skills


The successful applicant will ideally have experience in payroll, financial or human capital management software development. They should have the ability to become a systems expert and have experience of managing and prioritising workloads. They should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, and possess a keen attention to detail. They will be required to work in a global environment, with clients that have an expectation of service excellence.


Additional language skills are highly desirable given the international nature of our business.
